The capital of Grenada is overflowing with life! It is a colourful town with several lively markets where you can buy wonderful local fish, spices, fruit and vegetables.
In the town you can see different buildings dating from colonial times, as well as numerous local colourful houses.
The marina at St George's is adapted for receiving cruise ships and there is an anchorage area to the extreme south for tourist boats. The marina has an extremely friendly and warm atmosphere and there are prettily flowered gardens all year round.
